Set up the dish
- Attach the power cable to the dish (use the AC brick + cable). Don't plug into power yet.
- Find a clear view of the sky. Avoid overhead trees, buildings, and obstructions, and aim for a ~100° cone of open sky.
High-capacity connectivity for events up to 200 people
The dish draws 20-40W once it is tracking, and needs a standard AC outlet. A portable power station or a vehicle inverter will run it; a USB power bank will not.
Give yourself 20 minutes. The dish and the access point both want height and a clear line to the crowd, and that is much easier to find before there is a crowd standing in it.
