You need your own power.
The dish uses 20 to 40W. Use a standard AC outlet or 12V car outlet. A portable power station or vehicle inverter works; a USB power bank does not.

No app, nothing to prep
No Starlink app or download is needed. After you join the network, portal.wifiwithoutwalls.com handles sign-in, data, and the sky view.

Set up the dish
Attach the power cable to the dish with the AC brick and cable. Do not plug into power yet.
Choose one mount.
Tripod: Screw the tripod into the mount with the hex key and screw in its case. Feed the cable through the mount so it does not carry the dish's weight.
Kickstand: Fold it out until it clicks, then place the dish on a flat surface off the ground.
Car mount: Attach the frame, then secure it to the sunroof with the suction cups or magnets. Run the cable through a door or window seal, not the tailgate.
Find a clear view of the sky. Avoid trees, buildings, and other obstructions. Aim for a clear 100° cone.

Connect the system
Plug into your power source. A blue light on the back of the dish means it is getting power. Give it 1 to 2 minutes to wake up.

Pack down
Coil the cables and put them with the charging plugs in the backpack's outside zipper pocket.
Put the dish in the front square zipper pocket.
Put the tripod, tripod mount, kickstand, and car mount in the main backpack pocket.
Put the backpack in the reusable return bag. Flip the outbound label over to show the prepaid return label, then drop it at a FedEx location or drop box.
Troubleshooting
Connected, but no internet?
Open the sign-in page's sky view to check for obstructions.
Reposition the dish for clearer sky.
Confirm the blue light is on and check both ends of the power cable.
