Location production runs on connectivity that the location, by definition, does not have. Uploading dailies, running cloud review sessions, keeping production coordination alive, and processing payroll all assume a link that a desert wash or a national forest road does not provide.
A kit ships to the production office or straight to base camp, runs off a generator or a power station, and goes back with a prepaid label when the unit wraps. Rates are per day, so a two-week shoot is priced like a two-week shoot.

Generally good, because location units already need open ground for trucks and staging. The recurring mistake is placement inside the circus: a dish set between production trailers, next to a condor, or under a silk will be obstructed by the very setup you built. Put it on the tripod at the edge of base camp with a clear view, and treat its position as part of the layout rather than an afterthought.
The sign-in page shows what the dish sees in real time, so you can reposition it before a meeting or call.
How you get it
Shipped to you. Kits ship nationwide ahead of your dates. Portable power stations and solar panels are local delivery only in Colorado.
