Every large camping festival has the same connectivity story: the venue is rural, the temporary cell capacity is sized optimistically, and by Friday evening nothing sends. Vendors, production crews, and camps coordinating across a huge site all feel it.

Sky and obstruction
What the dish will actually see here
Usually easy, occasionally self-inflicted. Festival grounds are open fields, so the sky is there for the taking. The problem is almost always what you put around the dish: box trucks, stages, scaffolding, tents, and shade structures. Get the terminal on the tripod above the camp furniture, and keep it away from the lee side of a trailer.
Once you are set up, the captive portal on your router draws the real obstruction map from your own dish, so you can see exactly which part of the sky is blocked and move before it costs you a call.
How you get it
Shipped to you. The Starlink Mini kit ships anywhere in the country ahead of your dates. The portable power station and solar panel are local-delivery items in Colorado and cannot be shipped, so plan your own power for this trip.
