The busiest airport in the world for one week, camping included.
AirVenture turns Wittman Regional into the busiest airfield anywhere for a week and fills Camp Scholler with a temporary city of tents and campers. The cellular load is immense and predictable.
Exhibitors, workshop presenters, and anyone camping the full week are the usual renters here.
Sky and obstruction
Excellent, as you would hope at an airfield. Camp Scholler and the show grounds are flat open grass with cleared approaches in every direction, so the dish sees a full sky. Keep the setup low-profile and well clear of taxiways, aircraft movement areas, and any temporary flight-line barriers.
The sign-in page shows what the dish sees in real time, so you can reposition it before a meeting or call.
