The northern Outer Banks are well served. Down past Hatteras and out to Ocracoke, coverage thins with the population, and the whole chain shares a fragile dependence on a small number of cables and roads that storms regularly interrupt.
This is both a vacation rental and a contingency rental. A lot of our Outer Banks customers book for a working week at a beach house, and some book because the forecast looks bad.
Sky and obstruction
Superb. A barrier island has no terrain and no canopy, and an ocean horizon is as unobstructed as a view gets. The only practical considerations are physical rather than geometric: get the dish above the dune line and out of salt spray, and secure it, wind here is constant and occasionally serious.
