Sedona town has service. The dispersed camping up Forest Road 525, the sites out toward Beaver Creek, and much of Oak Creek Canyon do not, and that is where most people actually stay.
This is a heavy remote-work destination, a lot of people spend a week here working half days, which makes reliable connectivity the whole trip rather than a nicety.

Depends entirely on whether you are on top or in the bottom. Up on the mesas and out on the dispersed forest roads, the sky is wide and it is easy. Down in Oak Creek Canyon, with red rock walls close on both sides and a mature riparian canopy of sycamore and pine along the creek, you get a double hit of rock and trees and should expect noticeable obstruction. Higher and more open is the rule here.
