Next to the biggest roadless country in the lower 48.
Idaho contains the largest contiguous roadless wilderness outside Alaska, and Boise is the front door to it. The Frank Church, the Sawtooths, the Owyhees, and most of the state's river country have no coverage whatsoever.
This is a smaller market than the metros above it and a well-qualified one: people staging out of Boise are usually going somewhere genuinely remote rather than somewhere merely rural.

Idaho splits between the Sawtooth high country, where alpine basins and open granite give you excellent sky, and the deep forested river canyons, where dense conifer on steep walls takes a real bite. The Owyhee desert in the southwest is wide open and easy. River corridors are the hard case here, the same slot geometry as Zion with trees added.

- In wide sections and at open camps, usually yes. Deep in a canyon the walls take most of the sky, so treat it as intermittent rather than constant.
