A clear Montana trout river winding through a valley at golden hour below the Absaroka range

Starlink Rental in Bozeman

The northern door to Yellowstone, and everything past it is dark.

Bozeman is small for this list and belongs on it anyway, because it is the northern gateway to Yellowstone and the staging point for an enormous amount of Montana backcountry, ranch country, and fly water that has no coverage at all.

It also has a real remote-work population, which produces the hybrid trip: a few days working, a few days out, and a dish that makes the second half possible.

Sky and obstruction

What the dish will actually see here

Montana gives you wide open valleys and dense timbered drainages within a few miles of each other. Out on the Paradise Valley floor or the ranch land east of town, the sky is enormous and it is trivial. Up a forested canyon in the Gallatins or the Absarokas, you get conifer plus valley walls, and you will want the open ground. Above treeline, as always, it is perfect.

The sign-in page shows what the dish sees in real time, so you can reposition it before a meeting or call.

How you get it

Shipped to you. Kits ship nationwide ahead of your dates. Portable power stations and solar panels are local delivery only in Colorado.
