A city that knows exactly what happens when the infrastructure goes.
New Orleans does not need to be told why a link that does not depend on local infrastructure matters. Storm-season continuity is the rental driver here, for households, small businesses, and anyone who has been through an outage that lasted longer than a phone battery.
Outside storm season it is the bayou and coastal country, which is genuinely remote once you are off the highway, plus a heavy event calendar.
Sky and obstruction
Flat and open, which is favorable, with two local wrinkles. Live oak in town and cypress along the water are broad, low, and dense enough to matter if you set up under them, and humidity means you should treat cable ends and connectors with more care than you would in the desert. Out on open water or marsh, the view is excellent.
The sign-in page shows what the dish sees in real time, so you can reposition it before a meeting or call.
