- 01What internet options are there for a construction site trailer?
- A cellular hotspot works where the signal is strong, and a wired line works where one can be run to the site. Satellite needs neither, only open sky and power. Our kit is built on a Starlink Mini, ships to the site, and sets up in about 10 minutes.
- 02Can I get reliable internet for a pop-up or temporary business location?
- Yes, if the dish has open sky and you have power for it. Trees, buildings and roofs block the dish, so set it outside and clear of them. The network's sign-in page shows the dish's view of the sky, so you can move it if something is in the way.
- 03Can we keep the kit for the length of the job?
- Yes. Kits are booked by the day, and you can add days from your rental page while the job runs. For a longer project, ask our assistant for a quote.
- 04How do we power it on site?
- Plug it into a standard 120V outlet in the trailer or on a generator. Portable power stations cannot be shipped, so plan on power the site already has.
- 05How hard is setup?
- Setup takes about 10 minutes: place the dish with a clear view of the sky, plug in the power, and connect to the WiFi network printed on the kit. No technician, no account setup.
- 06What if we use more data than the plan?
- You pick a data plan at booking. If you hit the cap, messaging and the network sign-in page keep working, and you can add more data in one tap, charged to the card on file. Any usage beyond your plan and top-ups is billed per GB after your rental ends at the rate shown at booking.
