Then you step onto a beach at Rialto or up onto Hurricane Ridge and it is perfect. In this region, more than anywhere else, the difference between a great result and a useless one is fifty feet of walking.

- Yes. Heavy rain can cause brief degradation, but Northwest drizzle is not a problem. Tree canopy is the real obstacle here, not weather.
