How WiFi Without Walls Works
Order a Starlink or event WiFi kit, get it shipped or picked up, use it on your trip, and send it back. Here is the whole process, including shipping, data plans, and deposits.
WiFi Without Walls rents Starlink and event WiFi kits, shipped to your door. No contracts, no installers, and no equipment to buy. Here is what actually happens between booking and sending the kit back.
Shipping, both directions
We ship your kit to arrive before your rental start date, so you have time to unbox it and test it before you need it. The box it arrives in is the box it goes home in: your shipping is round-trip, a prepaid return label is already included in the price, and drop-off works at any carrier location. Your rental days are counted from your rental start date to your rental end date, not from whenever the box happens to show up.
Local pickup and return
If you are near Denver, you can skip shipping entirely and pick up your kit in person, during pickup and return windows you choose at checkout. It is the same kit and the same setup, just no shipping in either direction. We send the exact pickup address, door instructions, and a directions link with your booking confirmation, not published anywhere public. That is deliberate: we hand kits over from real homes, not a storefront.
Setting it up
Once the kit arrives, setup takes about ten minutes: place the dish with a clear view of the sky, plug in the power, and connect to the WiFi network printed on the kit. No technician, no account creation.
Data plans and overage
You choose a data plan at booking, sized to your trip. Service runs automatically up to your included data, and we text or email you as you approach the limit. If you hit the cap, open internet pauses, but you are not cut off: messaging keeps working and the network sign-in page stays reachable, where you can add more data in one tap, charged to the card on file.
There are no surprise bills mid-trip. For US rentals, any usage beyond your plan and top-ups is billed at $0.75 per GB after the kit comes back, against the card you used at checkout. International coverage is available at global rates when you book.
How deposits work
Every rental carries a refundable equipment deposit of 50% of the equipment rental price. That deposit is charged as part of your checkout payment, not held as a separate pending authorization your bank shows in limbo. After the equipment is returned and passes inspection, we refund the deposit to your original payment method.
If you need help
A human answers. Call or text us, or send an email, before, during, or after your rental. That does not change based on which kit you rented or where you are taking it.
