The Event at Dunbar Ranch
Temporary Wi-Fi for a three-day corporate event at Dunbar Ranch near Aspen: three Starlink dishes, ten access points, one network.
From October 1 to 3, a corporate event ran at Dunbar Ranch near Aspen, Colorado. It needed Wi-Fi across the main tent and the event areas around it, on equipment that came out when the event ended.

What we built
Three Starlink dishes fed one Peplink router, so guests joined a single network instead of picking a dish. A PoE switch connected ten Wi-Fi access points, with a network controller managing them. The head-end also included a portable power station.
How the cable ran
We placed the equipment with the production crew while the tent and raised floor went up. Every cable left the head-end in one shared tray to the edge of the tent, then ran at right angles along the tent's side. Runs that had to reach the far side crossed under the raised floor. One access point went under the deck stairs.

Setup day
During setup, an access-control problem blocked internet access on the network for about 80 minutes. We fixed it, then adjusted the radio settings and renamed the Wi-Fi to match the event signage. We also re-aimed the access point near the arrival area for guests coming in on shuttles.
During the event
The controller's daily report peaked at 277 connected devices on October 3. The report counts devices; it says nothing about how many people attended.
On October 3, the production team told us the Wi-Fi reached past the tent and nobody had complained.
